Nava Jeevan Vikas is a Secular Institute of consecrated life approved by the ecclesiastical authorities for women who are committed to the poor, and who want to dedicate  themselves to the service of God and His people practicing evangelical counsels and living in small communities with the people in union with Christ, the Divine Master.  It is a very special call given at our Baptism and Confirmation to live our Commitment fully and meaningfully in the service of the poor, marginalised and exploited people of our Society.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INSTITUTE:

* Proclaim the good news to the poor and sanctify oneself through prayer,  love and service with a preferential option for the poor.

* Reach out to the poor, the marginalised and exploited of our Society following the  footsteps of Christ.

* Dedicate oneself in total commitment to God and His people wherever He calls.

* Live and uphold gospel values of love, truth, justice and peace in all circumstances of  one’s life.
